The chalet at Otter Bothy was absolutely perfect for our stay on the Isle of Lewis. The room had a cozy and homely feel to it, making us feel instantly relaxed and comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and a microwave. We loved the private bedroom, providing a peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring.

Personally, I would have preferred if the chalet had another bedroom. However, I understand that for others, the single bedroom may be perfect for a romantic getaway or a solo adventure.

Michelle provided helpful information before arrival, and Donald was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The locals were incredibly welcoming, and one even helped me capture stunning photos of highland cattle by waving his feeding bucket. The bothy had everything I needed, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. I also had the opportunity to hire kayaks and start paddling right from my doorstep. The best part was the peacefulness and quietness of the location, allowing me to truly relax and enjoy the picturesque sea view. I highly recommend Otter Bothy for a simple, charming getaway with a wonderful view.
